Lynx, Prairie, Kestral, and Abyss. Four very different girls with very weird names. Each one was at a national disaster. Lynx was in New Orleans when Hurricane Katrina hit. Kestral was in South Dakota when the wildfires of 2005 scorched the plains. Prairie was in Alaska when an earthquake shook the land in June, 2005. Abyss was in Wyoming in 2005, when the tornados ravaged the land. In 2005, they were all 6. They were all born in the summer of 1999. Floods and storms follow Lynx, while landslides and earthquakes follow Prairie. Abyss seems to be stalked by tornados and windstorms; fires and volcanic eruptions follow Kestral. What happens when they meet the summer of their 18th birthday?

The rainforest kingdom has always been a peaceful kingdom, nothing particularly exciting ever happening there. Queen morpho rules well, but is a bit lazy. Nothing had been troubling the rainforest... Until now. Lemur's life has been flooded my lies. Her mother was told to be alive, when in reality she be died a long time ago. She had been told that dragons did care for her, while in reality lemur one of was just the opposite. So she ran, and had been living a happy life, away from all the stuff in her life, spending time with a certain seawing animus... She had been told the rainforest was safe. She had been told it was all just fine. She had been told that there would not be any more of that rubbish about saving the world, since it would not ever need saving again. Those dragons were all wrong. They were so wrong. Highest rank(so far) - #3 in floods Ok since all my other books had been discontinued because I started writing other books I will ONLY do this book!!! And if any one sees that this book has not been updated in 5 days TELL ME. ok? Ok. Also I need a cover, and I'm really bad at drawing... So if your willing to do it please do?

"So this is my first time writing a blog and I'm only doing this as I thought it would be a fun and rewarding experience and for a PDHPE assessment we have to 'take a risk' and I thought that starting a blog would be a cool risk to take." Hi and welcome! This is a book/blog that talks about the issues of the world (as the title suggests). Some of the things talked about include: feminism, the environment issues and the war between Ukraine and Russia. So enjoy! :)

With rising tides and a vicious enemy, everyone has a choice. Do you run to safety? Or do you fight for peace? For Fae, the choice is easy, she must go into hiding with her people and keep them safe, though her plans are crushed when the tides change and a something new jumps in her way. How is she supposed to get everything back to normal? I guess you will just have to turn these pages and find out what awaits with each sentence.

A poem inspired by the floods that occurred in the sleepy West Yorkshire town of Sowerby Bridge, where I've lived for 16 years. They were the worst floods since 1968 and happened on Boxing Day 2015. This poems about the devastation they caused and the strength of the local community uniting to help clear up the destruction caused by the wild waters of the canals and River Calder!

This is dedicated to our trying times nowadays with all the typhoons that we came across and survived...aren't we turning a blind eye to our Nature? Are we forgetting that we are not doing something in order to protect our nature's gift of life?

I'm a dilittante poet, as you will plainly see. But I'm versed in the language of science, and I'm alarmed by what I see. Yes, planet Earth is in peril, and the day of reckoning is near. So, I have turned to poetry, to share with you what I see, from the backdrop of my science degree. ENJOY!!!
