"So this is my first time writing a blog and I'm only doing this as I thought it would be a fun and rewarding experience and for a PDHPE assessment we have to 'take a risk' and I thought that starting a blog would be a cool risk to take." Hi and welcome! This is a book/blog that talks about the issues of the world (as the title suggests). Some of the things talked about include: feminism, the environment issues and the war between Ukraine and Russia. So enjoy! :)

26th July 2005 The day when Mumbai faced the most deadly attack by nature. Killing thousands in just a day. A day with the highest recorded rainfall for the city. Confused about what to do, this is one of the stories that was created that day. When one man selected not to hide but face the nature. It wasn't a great effort because many did it. But even if many tried, not all succeeded. But it didn't bother to him because his family was waiting home. All he had was an umbrella. Which is soo helpful but equally hated. Hated because it reduces the feel of the rain. Helpful because it helps to fight the strength of the rain. An umbrella that changed his life. Supported him. Defended him from the strong showers. Finally when he had lost all hopes, also made him get up because it was the only thing he had.

Lynx, Prairie, Kestral, and Abyss. Four very different girls with very weird names. Each one was at a national disaster. Lynx was in New Orleans when Hurricane Katrina hit. Kestral was in South Dakota when the wildfires of 2005 scorched the plains. Prairie was in Alaska when an earthquake shook the land in June, 2005. Abyss was in Wyoming in 2005, when the tornados ravaged the land. In 2005, they were all 6. They were all born in the summer of 1999. Floods and storms follow Lynx, while landslides and earthquakes follow Prairie. Abyss seems to be stalked by tornados and windstorms; fires and volcanic eruptions follow Kestral. What happens when they meet the summer of their 18th birthday?

As seen this winter, atmospheric rivers can smash California with massive and long rainstorms. However, every once in a while two rivers converge to create a catastrophic rain deluge. This occurred in late 2005 and the town where our office was located was majorly trashed. Good thing our office was on the 2nd floor!

Time changes with the seasons, as the seasons come and go, so do people and feelings. Spring brings life, summer brings sun, fall brings the colors of the changing leaves, and winter brings the peace of snow. A newly wed couple buys a little brown house out on the edge of the woods, excited to see what the years bring to them. But what they receive is nowhere near what they wanted, or close to what they feared.
