this story will continue soon. Due to start of the academic new academic year i have put on hold. Tired of cliches? Here is a non-cliche story.. Every day we wake, wanting for more. Wanting everything even if it is useless. Who knew that nature would decide to find against us in its own human way? What we desire has become more powerful than love or lust. Is our love for humanity enough to save something that we call ours but is rightfully someone else's. Mother Nature can be as sweet as they should and also as greedy as us humans. Fed up of our selfish desires, it longs for more care and wakes from the deep slumber to give a lesson that would live a scar forever. ------------------------------------ The past two years the people of Kerala has been under the torrent of flood in the monsoon season. turning horror into reality, I'm here to give an inside scoop in dedication to all those who lost their lives during that time. Deeply regretting the actions of our greedy minds. I write for they shouldn't be forgotten, they were innocent. Through the minds of four teenagers, the life of the survivor's tales are told. ------------------------------------- Jenna, in a refuge camp, regretting all her mistakes. Zaya, stuck somewhere, begging for mercy. Anandu, in self pity, longing for his best friend. Akhil, not in this world, wishing he was dead. It times of crisis we long for more becoming even more selfish. There are needs never to be fulfilled, are these four broken souls, hating themselves. ______________________ -status- Started: March 27 Ending: - Rank #549 in human on March 30 #2 in floods on April 6

They always said disasters were natural. As if storms were accidents, as if the earth woke angry for no reason. But storms feed on warmth, and the warmth was man-made. Floods rise where levees are neglected. Fires burn where budgets are cut. And when the alarms stopped ringing, we didn't notice at first. We trusted the silence. It was the silence that killed us. © 2025 Madelyn Moss. All rights reserved.

This is dedicated to our trying times nowadays with all the typhoons that we came across and survived...aren't we turning a blind eye to our Nature? Are we forgetting that we are not doing something in order to protect our nature's gift of life?

"So this is my first time writing a blog and I'm only doing this as I thought it would be a fun and rewarding experience and for a PDHPE assessment we have to 'take a risk' and I thought that starting a blog would be a cool risk to take." Hi and welcome! This is a book/blog that talks about the issues of the world (as the title suggests). Some of the things talked about include: feminism, the environment issues and the war between Ukraine and Russia. So enjoy! :)
