Trust me when I say my thoughts run rampant in my brain, they can never be restrained... Anyways, enjoy! ⋅⋆∘✯∘⋆⋅

They always said disasters were natural. As if storms were accidents, as if the earth woke angry for no reason. But storms feed on warmth, and the warmth was man-made. Floods rise where levees are neglected. Fires burn where budgets are cut. And when the alarms stopped ringing, we didn't notice at first. We trusted the silence. It was the silence that killed us. © 2025 MM. All rights reserved.

In this story, I'm talking about my childhood. This is sincerely a touchy subject, but my words need to be said. Part 1 being my story from 0-9. More parts will be written, my story will be told, and i hope one day yours is too. Disclaimers: Please note there are some very sensitive subjects portrayed in this story such as hitting, gun violence, drugs and child protective services. This is a rough story, but one I had to live so it could be told. Child in cover is me. Thank you.
