Mainly just random thoughts that go through my head written in a form of poems. Don't expect these to be top notch, most of these were written in a few minutes just to get my thoughts down on... well... not paper, but a screen, I guess. What if the leaders of your world changed history? What if they changed how people were born and lived? What if you found out that they lied? While parts of the country remain thirsty and pray for rain, parts of the country are flooded with rainwater! The heavy rainfall in the past few days in Assam has caused a massive flood, affecting more than 43lakh people. 30 out its 33 districts are currently submerged in floodwater, more than 83,000 people are living in relief camps and the death toll has risen to 15. The flood has submerged about 90% of the Kaziranga National Park. Kaziranga homes, the endangered One Horned Rhinoceros with many other species of animals and birds. Animals are forced to flee towards higher grounds. This also has led to confusion because of the potholes on the roads and ongoing traffic.

This is dedicated to our trying times nowadays with all the typhoons that we came across and survived...aren't we turning a blind eye to our Nature? Are we forgetting that we are not doing something in order to protect our nature's gift of life?

They always said disasters were natural. As if storms were accidents, as if the earth woke angry for no reason. But storms feed on warmth, and the warmth was man-made. Floods rise where levees are neglected. Fires burn where budgets are cut. And when the alarms stopped ringing, we didn't notice at first. We trusted the silence.
