Her mysterious creator told her three important rules to follow ''Never be happy, never feel- especially pain and never be afraid to kill'' Enza has followed the rules for 610 year but when she realises she can live happily, she doesn't know what to pick- the joy of being the dark, vicious vampire she already is or stopping her ways and finally relax.

Merin Maine has always been the girl on the borderline. She has her friends, she's in with the populars and she keeps to herself. Life's going great! Mum, dad and little brother Luke have gone on holiday and left Merin behind. What's the worst that could happen? A party here, a drunken night there? No. Something much, much worse...

The footsteps approached from behind. She kept running for her life. It was a dark alley, she came across a hiding spot, near the trashcan. The footsteps came closer and suddenly she heard gunshots and she felt a sudden pain on her chest. The bullet pierced through her skin and the red liquid came out from her mouth. Slowly she fell unconscious and with her half-lidded eyes she looked at the silhouette disappearing. She mouthed "help" Then everything went blank..........
