"But not everything in the world can be bad," Meredith spoke softly. "Sure, there's bad things, there's wild things, there's happy things, and then there's the good things." William closed his eyes and nodded. "There's always good things, and good people too. You just have to wait to meet them." 14 year old Meredith has had a tough past. She is an outcast, but let's her emotions show through reading and writing. When Meredith has had enough of her world, her town; She goes out on her own seeking an adventure like the ones she's read in fairy tales.

"Ça fait des jours que je marche. Du moins, je crois. Depuis que je suis parti, j'ai un peu perdu la notion du temps. Je crois que je suis perdu. Jade, elle, elle a l'air d'aller plutôt bien. Mais Jade a toujours l'air d'aller bien. On dirait qu'elle n'a jamais de problème. Parfois, je me dis qu'elle ne m'aime que pour me voler les miens. Mais j'en ai à revendre, alors qu'elle les prenne, cela ne me dérange pas." L'adolescence est une période compliquée. C'est un long chemin vers la personne que l'on est réellement. Ce long chemin, c'est celui que notre personnage parcourt. Et il est plutôt étrange.

Aside from the vampire attacks the werewolves have come to aid && have joined forces with their mortal enemy because of the conflict of the mating thing that concerns Flou Ethan && Jared.
