He was lonely. He loved most of his life in bed, unable to play or behave like a normal kid. His parents tried their best to take care of him. They really did. But eventually, they had another child, one that was normal, healthy. Everything he wasn't. He adored his little sister. Even if it stung a bit, knowing his parents had replaced him. His sister was there for him, at least. So, he could leave that world with a smile. Until he opened his eyes and realized he had been transmigrated into his favorite anime. At least he was healthy this time but how was this going to change the plot? Letting go is incredibly difficult. No matter if we cling to worries about the future, or if we keep replaying the mistakes of the past again and again in our mind-it can be quite painful when you have difficulties to move on. The desperate attempt to hold on to the things that were familiar to us limits our capability to experience happiness and joy in the present moment. Life is all about continuous change. This means to us that no matter how hard we try to keep things as they are, we will sooner or later be confronted with relentless changes, whether we like it or not. However, as soon as we cease our attempts to own and control the environment we are living in, we open up ourselves to new possibilities.

On a whim, I've just been dying to write more poetry lately, dying to get out of this writer's block...FUNK. I hope these aren't too dreadful. The meaning of the poems might be a little fuzzy or unclear, but they're meant for you to make your own meaning out of them if you can't distinguish one of my meanings. Often, my poems have double meanings, but I'm no genius, so sometimes they're also straight to the point. Please enjoy.
