The rainy night of that day remains deeply etched in Phaskorn's heart, no different from the one name he has never forgotten-Ten, the one who once filled the void in his heart but left without a single word, leaving behind nothing but emptiness and questions that no one has ever answered. After the events five years ago, Pepper-the fragile young man of the past-had died from that old world. All that remained was Phaskorn, hardened and cold, who built an empire along the Chao Phraya River to take control of every inch of the past that once stole his beloved away. He left his gentleness behind, choosing silence and indifference as armor for a heart that had never been healed. No matter how much time has passed, no matter how much he has changed... Ten's name remains carved into his heart, like a faint shadow that never stops haunting him. And when fate brings the two of them to face each other once again-Dueansib, who was once Ten, but no longer remembers him-they meet as strangers who have never known each other before. A return without memories, and a departure without goodbye... which one hurts more? While love continues to gnaw at the heart, and the questions from the past remain unanswered, their lives are being pulled into a vortex of schemes, secrets, and inevitable retribution. Because for Phaskorn... Ten never truly left. Only the world kept tearing his beloved away from him, over and over again.

This story is told from the perspective of normal people as they watch the events between divine beings unfold. This is a flash fiction piece that Im thinking I might turn into a novel. I feel like this story has real potential to grow, but I'm not super big on writing novels.
