A few months after the Barrier is broken and the monsters are set free, Asgore and Undyne make a startling discovery in a museum about the War. Then the story of the Surface during the 700 years comes to light, and with it comes new hope for the one who gave up long ago.

Frisk is determined to find a happy ending for everyone. That includes a certain yellow flower who wants nothing to do with them. As Frisk brings Flowey up to the surface, things get much more complicated. Flowey finds a happy ending of his own, but it's not at all what Frisk would have wanted.
