What if when Nightmare left D̶r̶e̶a̶m̶Emotiontale [awful name I know, just bear with me, I have a plan. Not saying it's a good one but it exists] the au glitched essentially resetting but without Nightmare. Nightmare is now officially an outcode and Dream... Dream is a 6 year old guardian going through life alone, not knowing why it feels like something is wrong, why something is missing. Nightmare goes back to his old au only to find, things are wrong and different. Dreamtale? What is this? Partly inspired by https://www.wattpad.com/story/205504452-do-i-know-you-dreamtale-au because of the lone guardian thing. No smut, ships, or cursing once again and please try not to swear in the comments. If you have any advice for me, it would be welcome.
