-These are my OCs -This takes place in Nebraska, United States -A soulmate AU in which the left half of your hair is your natural color and the right half your hair is the natural color of your soulmate. Trenton hates everyone and everything. He hates the circumstances he's in, but he's not about to fall behind his peers. He pretty much only owns hoodies and sweatpants, shops exclusively at Hot Topic and thrift stores, and he has a buzz cut because he's ~edgy~. Acting on impulse is what he does, but it could end up costing him his friends. Thistle is basically the exact opposite of Trenton at first glance. They should love their life: they get great grades, their parents have always been supportive of their identity, and they can get away with almost anything. So why is it that Trenton gets to seem perfectly content with his crappy family and Thistle isn't satisfied with the wonderful conditions they grew up in? Trying to figure it out only makes them feel more like a privileged fuck. Mydô is the mediator of this strange dynamic the three have fallen into. He isn't very noticeable at first; just a kid with odd hair. Unlike zir friends, Mydô doesn't come off as a bad kid, or a teacher's pet. Always smack in the middle. Trenton always finds the bad in things, and Thistle, the good. Mydô is indifferent about most situations, until she notices something that all three should've realized a long time ago.
