Clarissa Evans was an orphan. That was usually the first word that came to mind when you thought of her, but nobody dared to tell her that. She much preferred to have people think of her as clever, or friendly, or even annoying. She didn't mind being an orphan at all of course, but being labeled as an orphan usually came with a big handful of pity, which she absolutely despised. Then, out of the blue, she's wanted by the government. She's positive she's done nothing wrong, and something in her gut tells her the government wouldn't get involved unless its something big. Her escort however, has other plans... From reality comes a strange truth, with beasts she thought only took residence in people's imaginations. Claire isn't some whimsy dependent girl though, and she has no intention of letting anyone control her life except for her.
