Sequel to Everything to Lose, this continues the story of Varian and Cassandra, as they go With Eugene and Rapunzel to a Kingdom for a Royal assembly and Ball. When it becomes evident that someone at the assembly wants the royal couple dead, it is up to Cass and Varian to uncover the culprits and save their friends. I do not own these characters, this is total fanfiction.

Rapunzel is eight months pregnant, and her hormones are running wild. It's been about a year and a half since her great three-year adventure (aka I'm-going-to-run-away-from-my-parents-so-that-I-don't-have-to-deal-with-all-this-estrangement-in-my-life). She married soon after returning home, and has been rebuilding her relationship with her parents, while still dealing with the trauma and confusion which came from Mother Gothel. Since she discovered her pregnancy six months ago, she has had a recurring nightmare, which is where the story begins (and ends, really). The storyline also alternates narrators between the main cast (Raps, Eugene, Cass). I'm pretty selective about what I'm keeping from the Rapunzel TV show. Most of what happened there made no sense in the setting of the TV show itself, and in the context of the movie. I'm going for a more serious take on the story, with more realistic humor, dialogue, and internal conflict. But there is a lot of humor!

There are 9 guardians. They are all adults and have to make sure nothing bad ever happens to any kid in the world. The guardians are Jack Frost, Elsa, Rapunzel, Hiccup, Flynn Ryder, Mulan, Pocahontas, Merida, and Peter Pan. Everybody does their best to keep every kid safe. Peter Pan takes cares of lost kids. Jack Frost keeps kids happy. Rapunzel keeps the kids from being sad and making sure that they are ok. Elsa helps Jack, Mulan and Merida practice on fighting, Flynn teaches them how to fight. And Pocahontas keeps the animals from killing any human. And Hiccup teaches dragons from destroying the land. But then there is villains who plan on killing the guardians. And one powerful villain of all Villains. . . Maleficent. She became evil once she lost her daughter -- taken by the villains for revenge -- She (Maleficent) was once a guardian. *Enjoy the story peeps*
