Asiantism
Rapunzel is eight months pregnant, and her hormones are running wild. It's been about a year and a half since her great three-year adventure (aka I'm-going-to-run-away-from-my-parents-so-that-I-don't-have-to-deal-with-all-this-estrangement-in-my-life). She married soon after returning home, and has been rebuilding her relationship with her parents, while still dealing with the trauma and confusion which came from Mother Gothel. Since she discovered her pregnancy six months ago, she has had a recurring nightmare, which is where the story begins (and ends, really). The storyline also alternates narrators between the main cast (Raps, Eugene, Cass).
I'm pretty selective about what I'm keeping from the Rapunzel TV show. Most of what happened there made no sense in the setting of the TV show itself, and in the context of the movie. I'm going for a more serious take on the story, with more realistic humor, dialogue, and internal conflict. But there is a lot of humor!
