This is a short story that I had to write for a school assignment. It is based on the poem, 'On Growing Up' by Diane Paquin.

'As per the tradition Sufiyan married my brother's daughter-Ayesha.We want to follow the same for your generation too.And..as Mehwi is the only girlchild here...and we don't want her to sent off to another home by marrying.We want..' He paused and sighed. 'Zain and Mehwi get married' **....**.....*** Mehwish-A pretty,lovely, enthusiastic,intelligent girl.An outgoing introvert.The apple of each and everyone's eyes in the Ahmad's house-NEST.The one and only girl child among the eight children.Being the only girlchild in the family she have her own pros and cons.However, she loves her family more than anything!The life of NEST! And there is he-Zain Ahmad Sufiyan. The eldest grandson of Ahmad.A little bit short tempered, very much workholic,educated & successful young business man. Handsomeness and brilliance are something in his genes. The one whom Mehwish is not so enthusiastic about in her bunch of cousins in the present.And for that she had something in her past.Like that,Zain too have a strong past which made him change from the cool boy he once was to somewhat an enigmatic man, which made it hard for him to live in his own country and plant a seed of distaste in his heart for all the girls. Sometimes all it takes is a flawless facade to hide the pain you're really in, you hide it hoping that no one would see the pain hidden inside, yet at the same time you hope that at least one person would see it and help you get out. Jenny, a 19 yr old girl going to Uni, she has depression no one knows about it, she has a few friends but no one really close. She's kind of the loner. Carter, he's 20 yrs old, also goes to Uni, he is the badboy, and everyone knows him. Well except for Jenny. He has had his eyes on Jenny for a long time. Will he be the one to save her? Hello, I'm moth. I'm 23 years old and I have dream to be a sports nutrition assistant for athletes in my country and expand my ability to people all around the world to have a better eating behavior as well. I now live in Asian country which we do not have sports nutrition assistant who helps athletes to improve their performance, thus I decided to fulfill this role. My course will start on 18 September 2017 and I will study in UK. Only one problem which I don't want to call it as a problem is I need to afford a great amount of money around $45455 in order to do student visa. Yes it is a lot. But I will never give up. My plan from now on is 1. writing my own book which is full of my happiness and perseverance throughout my life 2. building muscle to be an elite physique model 3. sending the sponsorship letter to a company in UK 4. taking people who come to my country tour in order to get some good idea that I may not think of and practice my speaking skill 5. imagining the day when I get the visa, it would be around August 2017 and seeing myself and my family at the airport One among many reasons that I decided to write my story here is I believe in humankind, I believe that people in this planet can help me achieve my goal, in addition to I'm working on my goal intensively as well. If you guys have some idea about my plan or making money to do student visa within 3-5 months, I'm willing to take that advice and I will requite you guys in the thing that you would like to get it from me : ) Let you know that I am the eldest daughter in my family and my parents can't afford me in this regard, I was born in countryside and I have been struggling to achieve my goals since I was younger. And I'll keep doing it until my parents and my family have a better life. Additionally, I desire to requite the world where I have the opportunity to be born once. I will utilize my humanity to make as many useful things as I can to this planet.
