The Rat and Cat Theatre was closed after an incident nobody would ever associate with murder, but one little girl saw it all went down without anyone knowing. The two actors who died weren't fond of the idea of letting their killer live and made him suffer the same fate they did, possessing the animatronics of the role they were connected to. So what will happen when Mary Schmidt, the unknown witness of the incident, gets accidentally locked into the freshly reopened Rat and Cat Theatre at night?

mary schmidt was one of those people who took whatever they could get, no matter how awful it was. so of course, a job taking care of little kids left to their own devices at freddy's would help her with her aspiring dream of becoming an educator, despite all that's happened to her in her short life. "mike schmidt" as he called himself was someone who was there for reasons he'd never truly reveal. he didn't plan to get attached to any of his co-workers. they were all seemingly intimidated by him anyway, which he didn't understand at all on surface level, but in his head, he knew why. mary loses her house keys on her first day and ends up stuck on the night shift with the one co-worker she was frankly scared of. but sometimes, the most mysterious people turn out to be the most amiable.
