my first attempt at a slow burn fic. i chose one of my favorite ships, and they just happen to be the perfect couple to write a slow burn fic for bc of their storyline in seasons one and two of friday night lights. i'll be following some of the details of the first two seasons in this fic, along with my own story and my own characters. *i don't own friday night lights or most of the characters in this fic*

This is a story about Tami and Eric in high school before they met each other and then their relationship from the start

High school football surrounds everything in Texas and the town of Dillon is just a part of that culture showing their panther pride through the Dillon High School Panthers football team. Halle doesn't enjoy football but is friends with two guys from the team, Garrett and Matt. Bo Miller, Halle's six year old brother starts to enjoy football as he proclaims himself a "Tim Riggins fan" this doesn't bother Halle since she finds it a good way for Bo to distract himself from the family problems at home.

After heartbreak, from her parent's death, Brooklynn Chae took her twin siblings from their hometown in Maine to a small town called Dillon in Texas. Will Brooklynn find family love from the citizens? Will she find true love from a certain football player? Read and find out.

We were all saddened at the end of the show Friday night lights, but a lot of things were left unsaid so find out what happened 10 years later.

Freshmen year. Vivian Vaughn has always been a bold person. She took her chances when she asked Kingston Hughes to homecoming. Not really expecting to be rejected, it comes as a small shock to her. She comes back even stronger next year, and the year after.... Freshmen year. Kingston Hughes, a golden boy. The nicest boy in the grade, maybe even in the whole school. He was shocked when Vivian asked him to homecoming, unfortunately he had to politely reject her. She asked him freshmen year, sophomore year and junior year. Now finally in their senior year she quit. Who was she to spend three years groveling for a guy who didn't have the decency to say yes? Senior year. Kingston awaited for the proposal of the year. It never came. It ate him up thinking about why she didn't ask this year, so he took upon the task of figuring out why she didn't ask. Will he curb the pattern and ask her this year?
