A collection of short poetry, mostly about love and connections in between people. "The theatric of two" in French is folie á deux, which is the name of an album by the pop punk band Fall Out Boy. They're my favorite and inspired me to write these short poems.

A passionate shitpost Not yet complete and not sure if i'll bother

Kaolin and Patrick meet by chance. It's only because she is running for her life, completely wrecked, that he sees her and decides to help. Not only that, but he opens up his humble Chicago home to her. Before they know it, a relationship has formed between them. But Kaolin is determined to guard her heart well this time. She may be reluctant to let him in, but Patrick is persistent. Will he show her how much their love means to him? Or will circumstance make something terrible of Kaolin before Patrick can prove it to her?

Mary Plover, a 24-year-old violin and string orchestra teacher, is known for her fantastic violin skills. No matter what everyone says, she still believes she isn't perfect, even when the famous Chicago band, Fall Out Boy, ask her to be a solo violinist for their new album; Folie à deux. As her and her team of string musicians record with the band and all become close, Mary Plover starts to notice her growing feelings for a certain Patrick Stump. Kate Rune, one of Mary's violin students, is in the recording process with Mary's orchestra, hiding a deep and dark secret about her home life. As she goes further and further, her light slowly begins to fade, that is until she meets someone who she can talk about her issues with; Pete Wentz. A/N Quick note, this story may have some triggering content (i.e. abuse, attempts of committing suicide, self-harm and possibly rape or molesting. I do not own any of the characters or songs used (unless I say otherwise) Also before any thinks so, Kate and Pete will not date! She's still in school and he's like 24😂 Good day!

Found out he was sleeping with someone else. I was heartbroken. Now, I've moved on; haven't seen him in 4 years. Suddenly, he pops up in my life again. What will happen when he wants to rebuild our relationship when there's nothing to build on? NOTE: The beginning takes place during the Folie á Deux era then moves on to his Soul Punk era

The greatest irony of Sandman's existence is that he doesn't sleep. Sleep is a luxury he cannot afford and a privilege he will never be granted. Instead he lies awake in bed, talks to shadows, curses the darkness that follows him, and envies the others for having what he himself can never attain. The one silver lining, if you can call it that, to being cursed with permanent insomnia is that it gives him plenty of time to think. And so when he's not bringing sleep to the sleep-deprived and nightmares to the dreamers, he wanders the streets of the twisted universe he calls home and thinks. He thinks about his existence, and he thinks about his identity, and he thinks about the people around them and how many of them are the same, soulless phantoms trying to reclaim a humanity they threw away ages ago. He thinks about his role in all of that and wonders if he should feel guilty. Mostly, though, he thinks about Benzedrine. Without Benzedrine, there would be no powerful potions, no elixirs, no one to satisfy cravings and fuel addictions and soothe urges. Without Benzedrine, there would be no Sandman. Arthur is brought to the hospital after suffering a murder attempt, where he meets a strange little girl with an edgy sense of humor and morbid interests, who will awaken not just Arthur's fatherly instinct, but also the Joker's thirst for blood. (Obvious spoilers for Joker and Joker: Folie a Deux) Author's commentary: Yeah I took the bait in that ragebait of a second movie and it very much enraged me, so now the autism won't let me sleep until I take that man out of his grave and make him a dad. I think a child would fix him way more than a girlfriend would, and I'm tired of pretending I don't.
