(Inspired by Taylor Swift's Folklore Love Triangle) After Betty hears rumours about what her boyfriend did over the summer, going back to school becomes even harder, as she tries to focus on her goals. Meanwhile, James attempts to make it up to her, whilst Augustine figures out their relationship, and one question hangs over all three of the senior's heads: Was it just a summer thing? Betty, the perfect one. James, reserved and emotional. Augustine, more than 'the other woman'. Navigating life and love as teenagers in a small beach town, Betty, James, and Augustine must figure out who they love, and what they will do for that love.

Betty has been dating her boyfriend James for over 6 months now and couldn't be happier, he helped her with her grandpa's passing and when she was getting bullied. James was disconsolate, i mean how could he love someone who just wanted to talk? he was getting tired of constantly helping her and frankly all he wanted to do sometimes was just pin her down and kiss her. so to desperately try to take a break James traveled to the small costal town of Wisteral, he was staying for the summer. Augustine had always been outgoing, she constantly had parties and had numerous boyfriends. she knew everyone in her town, and always helped the community. as much as she tried she always felt empty, like a piece of her was missing, nothing had ever met the high standard of her heart. until she met James. - SWITCHING POV STORY - ALL RIGHTS TO CHARACTERS BELONG TO TAYLOR SWIFT

James Hill is an ordinary 20-something Yalie. While incredibly book smart, he has to work two jobs during the summer and maintain his Internet presence to earn enough money for surviving. Well-known in both online writing and video creation communities, his reputation has been somewhat tainted by various incidents - from his own arrogance to a messy set of affairs involving a pair of rivals named Augusta and Betty. Still, James has been getting by relatively well. Then Lacy comes in. Lacy has a crush on James. She is also everything he hates. She's spirited and eclectic and unfiltered. She wants to make it somewhere in content creation - whether that's in music or writing. And she won't change who she is at heart just to fit in with her publication mutuals. Thus, James seizes this opportunity to sabotage Lacy's prospects. But it won't be all fun and games... (While there are unreliable tabloid rumors about the identity of Olivia Rodrigo's Lacy, my story is not intended to replicate true events - be they those of her or me. My story is also only very loosely inspired by Taylor Swift's Folklore love triangle and the former, so do not expect a lot of similarities).

James, the school's biggest dreamboat. His life is perfect. He's handsome, he has a good friend group, and a perfect home life. Every girl wants him, but his eyes are only set on Betty, the love of his life since the first time he saw her. That is, until a new girl comes into his life. She changes everything for him, and he knows he'll have to choose eventually, he can feel August slipping away, only a moment in time. Who will James choose? Betty, quiet to most, but quite talkative to those she love. Growing up in an abusive home, she is not quick to trust others, having a small but tight-knit friend group. James may have loved her from the moment they met, but Betty loved him ferociously from when she fell. However, when someone new comes into the picture, their relationship is tested. Will James and Betty become another story lost to folklore, or shall they remain together for evermore like they dreamed? Augustine, the new girl in town. Growing up in upstate New York and having to move to Pennsylvania, she is not thrilled about this new journey, especially when she finds out she'll be enrolled in a Catholic private school instead of the public school in her new town. But when she meets James, her life flips upside down. He may have a girlfriend, but Augustine knows that they were made for each other. James has to choose her, right?

This story is based of the the August and James relationship in Folklore by Taylor Swift. James is sad about going to Maine for the whole summer with out his girlfriend Betty. But while in Maine he meets August a free spirited beauty that's takes his breath away. He finds himself falling your August more and more but he continues to miss Betty. What will he do?

a take on the Taylor Swift Folklore triangle but not exactly as expected. there are some different twists. also, this is not corrected, and I suck at writing but enjoy. Also this is very much Taylor's idea (names, plot, ect.), just with some tweaks and changes. :)
