in which my honors english extra credit got way out of hand. or.... a king who is falling out of love with his doting wife rekindles with an old lover. what could possibly go wrong?

A dark twist to the Folklore love triangle.

a take on the Taylor Swift Folklore triangle but not exactly as expected. there are some different twists. also, this is not corrected, and I suck at writing but enjoy. Also this is very much Taylor's idea (names, plot, ect.), just with some tweaks and changes. :)

My interpretation of the folklore love triangle!(Betty, James, Augustine) This is how I imagined it to go, and what I feel the characters would be like. Hope you enjoy!

Betty and James are the couple of the school, but James hates everything about it. Prom is coming up and he knows Betty wants to be prom queen again this year. Before her he'd only ever spoken to one girl, Augustine. They were close friends but she graduated last year and they haven't spoken since. What happens when she runs into James during a time where he's thinking things with his girlfriend won't last? Augustine has never been the type to fall in love. Until one summer she meets a boy like no other. She becomes completely infatuated with him. A timeless folktale.

Betty: Surrounded by love so comfortable that the little indiscretions her boyfriend makes can be disregarded. The cracks start to show until, one day, everything shatters. Augustine: A girl no one knows, and everyone wants to. She becomes the talk of the town after rumors spread that she is James' secret girlfriend. As soon as summer ends, she loses everything. The story of 2 girls brought together by a shared lover and forever intertwined by fate. This story is inspired by the Folklore Love Triangle (August, Betty, Cardigan). It will also include references to and scenes from other songs from Folklore and Evermore, as well as songs from Taylor Swift's wider discography.

It was the last day of school and they were all getting ready to leave. However, James, whom had been loyal to Betty for almost his whole life, catches feelings for another girl Augustine. Throughout the summer the two end up in an affair without Betty knowing. That is, until they return back from summer and Betty finds out... Inspired by the Folklore Love Triangle from Taylor Swift's "Folklore" New chapter coming soon!

Betty and James always thought that they were going to be together forever and that nothing would stand in their way. They were THE couple at school, everyone had known them as Betty and James, or James and Betty but they were never known individually. Whenever one of them would get invited to something like a party, you were inviting them both. It was just something you had to know. They were the couple you would imagine to be in a romantic book, or movie. The perfect couple. One night, Betty and James have a fight and James ends up leaving her house angry. James never wanted to get revenge or anything on Betty because they still loved each other very much, but when a long time friend pulls up as James is walking home, he feels as though he has no choice.
