Betty has been dating her boyfriend James for over 6 months now and couldn't be happier, he helped her with her grandpa's passing and when she was getting bullied. James was disconsolate, i mean how could he love someone who just wanted to talk? he was getting tired of constantly helping her and frankly all he wanted to do sometimes was just pin her down and kiss her. so to desperately try to take a break James traveled to the small costal town of Wisteral, he was staying for the summer. Augustine had always been outgoing, she constantly had parties and had numerous boyfriends. she knew everyone in her town, and always helped the community. as much as she tried she always felt empty, like a piece of her was missing, nothing had ever met the high standard of her heart. until she met James. - SWITCHING POV STORY - ALL RIGHTS TO CHARACTERS BELONG TO TAYLOR SWIFT

A story based on the famous folklore love triangle. Betty is a kind hearted girl, living her fantasy of being in love with James, excited for the summer they are about to spend together; until Jame's eye wanders. New girl Augustine catches his eye,causing a summer fling between them both; breaking two hearts. Who will James choose? Will Betty be his true love?

So there's a love triangle in Taylor swift's songs cardigan, Betty, and August, which are in the folklore album. This story is based off that love triangle. There are also references of other Taylor swift songs. Enjoy!

(Inspired by Taylor Swift's Folklore Love Triangle) After Betty hears rumours about what her boyfriend did over the summer, going back to school becomes even harder, as she tries to focus on her goals. Meanwhile, James attempts to make it up to her, whilst Augustine figures out their relationship, and one question hangs over all three of the senior's heads: Was it just a summer thing? Betty, the perfect one. James, reserved and emotional. Augustine, more than 'the other woman'. Navigating life and love as teenagers in a small beach town, Betty, James, and Augustine must figure out who they love, and what they will do for that love.

Betty and James always thought that they were going to be together forever and that nothing would stand in their way. They were THE couple at school, everyone had known them as Betty and James, or James and Betty but they were never known individually. Whenever one of them would get invited to something like a party, you were inviting them both. It was just something you had to know. They were the couple you would imagine to be in a romantic book, or movie. The perfect couple. One night, Betty and James have a fight and James ends up leaving her house angry. James never wanted to get revenge or anything on Betty because they still loved each other very much, but when a long time friend pulls up as James is walking home, he feels as though he has no choice.
