As both a foodie and a storyteller, I've always believed food carries emotions words sometimes cannot express. The warmth of a freshly baked dessert, the comfort of a familiar flavor, the quiet happiness a simple cup of coffee can bring - these little moments inspired the soul of this story. Ira was created from that love. She is ambitious, focused, and deeply devoted to her work, but she also finds comfort in soft, familiar tastes and cozy spaces. She represents the part of us that chases dreams while secretly craving warmth and belonging. Her love for food isn't just a hobby - it is how she connects with emotions she struggles to voice. Jai, however, became the person who creates that warmth. He is patient, grounded, and believes love should never be rushed - just like the desserts he bakes. To him, food is not just flavor; it is care, comfort, and silent affection served in the simplest ways. Through 𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐒 πŽπ… ππ‘πŽπ–π, I wanted to write a story where love grows the way flavors do - slowly, gently, and memorably. A story where warmth travels across distances, and destiny tastes sweeter when shared.

"This story is a work of creative fiction. While certain settings, themes, or concepts may draw inspiration from real-world contexts, specific characters, events, and narrative elements are products of the author's imagination and do not represent actual people, places, or occurrences. Any resemblance to real individuals-living or deceased-or to factual events or locations is purely coincidental." He thinks she's just a fan lookalike. She's secretly a K-drama superstar who's been following his meme account for months. Josh is a Filipino graphic designer who loves good food and makes terrible jokes. And why does he keep teaching her the wrong Filipino words? "Love doesn't need subtitles - but it helps if you know your samgyeopsal from your sinigang."

Mia is a stunning but perpetually "unlucky" supermarket cashier. She's an orphan with a bank balance that looks more like a temperature reading in Antarctica. Enter Lucas: a brilliant, painfully shy, and borderline mute game programmer who communicates mostly in "grunts" and "nods." Lucas is desperate to escape his toxic, overbearing wealthy family. To gain his independence, he must prove he can sustain a "normal" family life for one year without their money. He offers Mia a one-year marriage contract: a place to stay and a paycheck in exchange for being his "shield." Mia moves into his cozy (and slightly messy) apartment, assuming Lucas is just a struggling freelancer like her. She rarely sees him-he's a ghost who only emerges for Cheetos and cold pizza. After watching him treat his stomach like a trash bin and "forgotten-to-eat" syndrome, Mia takes over the kitchen. As the "Golden Retriever" personality inside Lucas begins to wake up, the contract starts to feel a lot less like business and a lot more like a glitch in the heart.
