Vanessa visits her grandparents in La for most of the Summer. There she meets a guy her age, wearing all red with a matching snap back, Felix. At first Vanessa doesn't think too much of him, then as she begins to learn more about him she falls in love. Before she knows it, Vanessa realizes Felix has to move back to Sweden. And to make it worse Summer is almost over.
