Have you ever wondered what would happen if the Foot Clan kidnapped one of the turtles and raised it by Shredder? After 15 years, Raphael discovers that the other turtles are his brothers and that Hamato Yoshi "Splinter" is his father. And Mikey, Leo, and Donnie learn that their brother is in the service of their eternal enemy. How will it all end? This takes place in the world of the 2012 series (my favorite). In New York, mysterious radioactive ooze has mutated four sewer turtles into talking, upright-walking, crime-fighting ninjas. In an attempt to fix what he had broken, the genius inadvertently puts himself in harms way. Who knew one simple, solo mission could change so many things? An AU. I've watched the 2003 episode of TMNT, 'Good Genes' a million times just so I could write this story. I love the episode and I'm committed. Love you all!!! <3

It occurred to me that there must be many off screen mutants in TMNT, those whose stories will never be told. I wanted to write something about some of them, and what their lives and cultures might be like, before the Turtles and the Turtle madness came on the scene. This story takes place in the 2012 continuum.
