A place for me to share details that otherwise might not find their way into my story. During this last week leading up to Nanowrimo, at which point I'll start writing my story, I'll practice meeting my word count per session by writing entries for my appendix. Updated daily. PS: All writing here will be unedited and frequently consist of stream of conscious.

Set one year after the main trilogy, Bartimaeus is summoned once again in Bruges by a person he knows quite well. Here they tend to closure upon what happened one year earlier.- Just a short story, that popped into my head upon rereading the trilogy for a third time.

Beca Mitchell. A small brunette girl, with a monstrous looking piercing, is a sophomore in JFK University. Though Beca has been in university just over a year now, she hasn't made very much progress. Beca is quite reserved, possibly down to her parents' divorce...Or maybe the death of her mother. Her only escape out of the real world is her music. When she is in the booth presenting a segment or running music, she is always as if a different person. Still sarcastic and distant, but happy.... content... ALMOST. Chloe Beale however is almost the exact opposite of Beca. She is in her junior year but attends a rival University, Barden. She is a bright, bubbly redhead who strives to achieve in life. She wears a wide smile on her face daily, almost as if it's a part of her outfit. She has a passion for making friends, as well as taking care of animals. However, there is a side to Chloe that no one knows about, not even her childhood aca-buddy Aubrey. She opted to live with her parents, off campus, when she began attending College. She never drinks too much at parties and always leaves before 12am.She rarely attends sleepovers, however when she does, she leaves before the rest of the girls wake. Chloe may be bubbly and seem to be open about every aspect of her life, but deep down she has a large secret. What happens when both their very different worlds collide when Beca is placed temporarily with The Bella's on an Acapella Retreat? What happens when Beca moves to study at Barden? But most importantly. What happens when Aubrey uses her last order as Captain? When she blows The Pitch Pipe to have all 9 girls live with one another in a sorority house. A never-ending slumber party will begin. Bonds will be Strengthened. Truths will be told. Metaphorical barriers will be broken. A change in personality will arise. This was my first book, published by Egmont in the UK in 2010. All four titles in the series are now available worldwide, wherever good ebooks are sold. Ondine is a teenage girl whose pet ferret starts talking with a Scottish accent. The ferret is Shambles, who happens to be a real man living in reduced circumstances. It's set in the crazy Eastern European country of Brugel, and contains footnotes! The footnotes are the reason it's taking me so long to upload each chapter. I have to put them in manually so there's a lot of scrolling up and down and double-checking. Enjoy!
