Lucy has become an outcast in the new city she moves to and she feels completely and utterly alone with no one to talk to. Until she meets her first friend, a girl named Amelia. As she starts to feel something more than friendship towards her she has to decided whether to tell her or just keep it in for the sake of her only friend. Will she be able to figure everything out and be able to face all her problems?

Moving into a nice house in a newly developed suburban neighborhood sounds nice, but when Hazel and her mom move into her mom's new boyfriend's townhome, Hazel is devastated. The last thing she wanted to do was leave their big house out in the country, one of her only reminders of her dad. But when he died and left them without a way to earn money, things went downhill fast. Hazel's awkward, introverted personality is a stark contrast to her new friends in Hedgefair, Iowa, a small, newly developed, neighborhood at the edge of the Des Moines. Zoey and Connor are both outgoing and social, with striking, single family homes they live in with their parents. However, when a set of strange footprints starts appearing on both of their properties, Hazel is suddenly thrust into the middle of a mystery crazier than she ever thought a summer in the suburbs could be. When the trio discovers a plot to kidnap one of them for ransom, they make sure to find everything they can about the mysterious kidnapper leaving footprints around the neighborhood. But waking up in a field in the middle of nowhere with no knowledge of how they got there or who brought them there was not part of the plan. The friends are forced to find out as much as they can about what's going on without ever even knowing where they are or when they got there, which proves a challenge for even all three of them. I'm sometimes touched by how weak and fragile we humans are - crippled by disease or mental illness or freak accidents that are beyond our control, yet how great we can be especially when united, working towards a great act. But however strong or weak we deem ourselves to be, we all seem to share one thing- we all want to be remembered. Sometimes it's not so much death we fear but the mark we leave on those that get left behind.

Trying to unravel the mystery of the disappearance of some of the inhabitants of her village, young girl goes into the forest in search. There she meets a wolf and an odd woman with golden eyes... All the mean words I uttered in the hallway towards you, all the glares I gave you, all the names you were called.... I never meant for it to get this way. If I could change it, I would. But that's not as easy said than done. Maria Denari is the popular girl in the 8th grade that everyone loves. Chloe Franklin is the shyest, sweetest girl you will ever meet. Maria and Chloe are from to totally different worlds. Maria bullies Chloe, leaving Chloe no choice but to take her life. Chloe left the world thinking she was worthless, dumb, ugly, a slut, all because of one girl who had to power to change the way people thought of you. Now, Maria is regretting her choices and she's now the target of the new bully, Hazel Johnson. Will Maria find light in a way to stay alive?
