Carter Williams always lived for himself. He never had to worry about how his actions affected people in his life because there was no one. That's why he chose a life of solitude, and a job where if anything went wrong the only thing he had to protect was himself. A life of violence, hurt, and hate. He was unloved, only wanted for his victories. He was a shadow in the already dark alley. He was nothing to the world, just another broken person with a messed up life. But to me, he was so much more. And to him, I was the light that would lead him out of the never-ending darkness.
