We never chose to enter the Dark Lands, but once we did, we found out too late that we couldn't ever leave. We were trapped in a constant battle with the Dark Power, who set every creature imaginable on us, testing our limits, and crushing them. But the Dark Power grew in strength, so did we, and the only way that we could ever be free, escape the clutches of the Dark Power? Destroy it. Rid the Darklands of it's posessor, and free the trapped souls from eternal destruction. It was our mission, and although we didn't choose it, we had to accept it. It was life or death.

Being a test subject is not fun. But being a test subject in a life-threatening situation is even worse. And that's what I am. A test subject to try out AI new force field. I guess you could say their new invention kind of makes it like I have powers.
