The night New Mombasa falls is supposed to belong to the Covenant. Instead, it becomes the point where two universes collide. Cut off from Beacon, surrounded by alien forces, and hunted for their strange "anomalous energy," Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang are forced to adapt to a brutal kind of war where there are no Grimm... only plasma fire, glassed cities, and soldiers who die quietly in the dark. One of them is the Rookie-an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper who wakes alone after a disastrous drop, searching the ruins for his scattered squad. Silent, haunted, and newly baptized by fire, he finds unlikely allies in four huntresses who fight like nothing he's ever seen. Together, they navigate shattered streets, underground data hives, and Covenant strongholds, forging bonds in the middle of a city that's already been marked for destruction. Throughout the nearly three decade long Human-Covenant war, many battles were fought, both on planets and in the vacuum of space. Countless stories have been told and recounted of the actions of both Humanity and the Covenant. But during the 28 years of the war, scores of these conflicts went unnoticed, their stories going untold. This is one such story.

Master Chief, otherwise known as Spartan-II soldier John-117, has never been one to work with others on the perilous journeys and missions tasked. That is, for the only exception he'll make. Mary-121, too, is a Spartan-II soldier. But she has been by John's side since the very beginning of their lives, living on the same colonist planet of Eridanus II. The two children attended the same school: Elysium City Primary Education Facility Number 119, labeled by their fellow classmates as "The Dangerous Duo." Halo: Feet First covers the story of a team of UNSC Orbital Drop Shock Troopers of the 7th Battalion, 105th Shock Troops Division. The main character, Duncan Iris, faces the full horror of the covenant war effort against humanity as well as the brave retaliation of outnumbered and outgunned UNSC forces. However, he also witnesses the turning of the tides as the war progresses to its final, bloody years. (Based on the original Halo Franchise)
