Mac finds themselves in Forest City, a fresh start for them after they got kicked out and now has to live with their Aunt Hazel. Mac attends Forest City High School and meets the local students at the school. They befriend Cobalt and Monty and makes some enemies along the way, while also uncovering some dark secrets about the people surrounding them.
