In the near future, natural disasters increase at an alarming rate. Sixteen-year-old Amy lost her father ten years ago when he disappeared during a flood. Now her older brother is going off to fight the forest fires that are encroaching ever closer to their home, and Amy can't stop worrying about him. She's sick of sitting on the sidelines when the people she loves are in danger. But what can she do about it?
