In a small village, there was an old broken bridge across a river. Long ago, it was the only path connecting two sides of the village. But after a big storm, it became weak and unsafe. Everyone stopped using it. Years passed. People built a new bridge nearby, and the old one was forgotten. Only children sometimes looked at it and wondered about its history. One day, a little girl named Meena noticed something strange. Every evening, an old man used to sit near the broken bridge and just look at it quietly. He never spoke to anyone. Curious, Meena went near him and asked, "Grandpa, why do you sit here every day?" The old man smiled and said, "Because this bridge is not just wood and stone... it is memories." Meena didn't understand at first. The next day, she came again with her friends. The old man slowly started telling stories. "This bridge once connected families, markets, and hearts. People helped each other cross it. No one was left alone." Hearing this, Meena asked, "Can we repair it again?" The old man laughed softly, "It's too old now." But Meena didn't stop thinking. She shared the idea with the villagers. At first, elders said, "It's useless." But children insisted, "Let's at least try." Slowly, something beautiful happened. People started cleaning the area, fixing small parts, and rebuilding the bridge-not to replace the new one, but to preserve history. Days passed. The bridge didn't become perfect, but it became safe again for walking and remembering. Now, families visited it together. Children played there. Elders shared old memories.
