This is obviously about forbidden young love. The guy wanted to leave his girlfriend but the new girl didn't let him. The guy ended up cheating with his girlfriend. The new girl really fell in love with this guy but she doesn't want to ruin their relationship. This new girl wanted a right relationship with the right person, with no complications. Even it breaks her, at least she had a peace of mind. She still made the right decision.
