Everyone has problems, Melody is no different. She goes to school like everyone else, attends class and goes home when she needs to. Nothing out of the ordinary but, behind the scenes... Her mum has been away for a while. She works for the military, 'fighting for the country' or so everyone keeps telling her. But, that doesn't change the fact she's going through some hard times. She doesn't have many friends and her mum not being around has taken its toll on both her and her dad. Her family is rich but, money can't buy everything. Still she doesn't want to be a bother to anyone so she keeps everything inside although angry outbursts with her dad give and brief glimpse of her true feeling. Long story short, she has enough to deal with so when she ends up in a mysterious place where her mum also seems to exist, unknowing, her heart slowly begins to turn to stone. Journey on a story of magic, emotion, fear, hope and love because, 'the most important things in life.... are the ones you can't buy back.'

This was written by my boyfriend and I, we were just having fun and hopefully you all see that it wasn't meant to be taken offensively. It's about a kangaroo who is struggling with his weight and learns a valuable lessen.

A rewrite of a beautiful Roman mythology love story between Pluto, the king of the underworld (also known as hades) and Proserpina (also known as Persephone) the daughter and descendant of Ceres (also known as Demeter) the mother of nature. Originally written by Nathaniel Hawthorne. My rewrite with turn Pluto, the antagonist as he's seen, into the main character to share his sadness as he watches Proserpina from below, and focusing more on Pluto's thoughts and life style. The drawings above the chapters are not mine but if found them to be very beautiful so I wanted to add some color to my book.
