Just a continuation of my eclectic collection of one-shots, Keefe POVs, other character POVs, alternate endings, and more. My writing is nearly always canon compliant.

Everest wasn't the type of elf that was considered... normal. She could lie & feel guilty. She could get into fights & deal with. She was considered human by many people. Her eyes were a pretty gray-blue. They seemed to be mixed with different exotic colors. Sophie had met her a few weeks after being in Foxfire. Everest is a sarcastic, hilarious, crazy psycho, loving elf! Keeper of the Lost Cities, Unlocked This starts right after the Loanmore "victory" . Sophie Foster is desperate to help Keefe wake up from his coma, and finally agrees to open Oralie's cache. The Lost Cities may not be able to cope with the Neverseen, the risk is too big, and the threat too real. The Council has to take action before the twelve lose their power. Hard truths await on the Moonlark's path. But she needs to face her destiny to avoid having her loved ones being hurt and prevent her world from toppling. These characters are not mine, they are Shannon Messenger's. This is my version of what book 8.5 Unlocked could be. I try to respect the author's style, I'll be doing my best. ;)

Character reactions after Sophie and dex get kidnapped keepers of the lost cities

Sophie Foster finds herself in a fight with everyone she knows- and it's all because of a misunderstanding. Sophie was accused of something she had nothing to do with, but not even Grady and Edaline believed her. And with nothing to lose- and nowhere to go- she decides it's time to just stop- disappear- and hope that starting a new life will help her forget about it all. But not everything comes that easy. She faces challenges and obstacles- times that are good and bad- but what will happen when everyone realizes that Sophie had nothing to do with it? Will they just let go? Evelyn Teylor and Hannah Teylor are elves. After meeting the Kotlc gang, she has just a few treats for them, but things may not go her way.

All characters belong to Shannon Messenger. Sophie is 16 in this version. She had 7 names and ties between them?!?!?! She must've gasped because she heard Keefe ask her "Hey, Foster? You up there?" She quickly hid the scroll behind her back as they levitated up to where she was. Keefe caught this movement and asked. "Who's your top 10 Foster? I know you opened it." "I only have a top 3 technically." "What do you mean you have 3 top matches?" Fitz and Dex asked at the same time. She showed Biana and Linh the scroll and they both gasped, then burst out laughing. "My brother?!?!?" They both asked/yelled at the same time. "What?!?!?!" Fitz and Tam screamed at the same time. Keefe laughed so hard he fell out of the tree. Then Dex laughed at Keefe until he cried. Sophie then sprinted for the cliffs. Keefe, who was already on the ground, grabbed her wrist, she didn't notice this as she kept running, giving her legs a brain push. "Sophie! Wait!" She heard Biana yell. Sophie, stop. She heard Fitz's voice in her head. I can't Fitz, I need to leave. For how long? He asked, obviously concerned. For however long it takes. She answered then she jumped off the cliff with Keefe still clinging to her wrist, silent. She pushed the energy out of her head, and cracked the sky open. She teleported to Central Park, in New York. She took out her phone and earbuds and played Taylor Bickett's song 'Coffee and a Question Mark' from the This Isn't Me Missing You album. She sat on the nearest bench and started singing along with it.
