You, a poverty-stricken individual in a corrupt society where "hospitality," "harmony," and "fairness" are foreign concepts. The root of disharmony lies in the corrupt government that oppresses you. Driven by insatiable greed that leaves little for the people's needs, your life spirals into absurdity, until a compassionate man offers to turn things around. Everything seemed fine until one fateful night's sleep. You awaken from an eerie nightmare, a message of impending doom. Inexplicably, you find yourself in a place beyond imagination, akin to paradise. As you come to realize the corruption of this Realm, you are stranded with no means of returning to your world. How will you find your way back?

Discuss this claim with reference to two areas of knowledge." ~~~ This collection of short stories was completed by a few friends and myself in response to an assignment in our theory of knowledge class. We were really proud of it and therefore wanted to share. All four of us wrote two stories in different chapters. This is inspired by Haruki Murakami's After the Quake. Enjoy.

Forbidden Fairies Alanna crum, eighteen years old, raised by her mother, has to learn how to survive the foreign world without anyone knowing her Secret. How will she survive in a strict forest where her kind is forbidden? After watching her father and sister killed, who were both fairies, Julia crum, (alanna mother), decides its best to keep Alanna true identity a secret. She is the last of her kind. (The story doesn't have a year date but it take place in village located in Adora Forest, a place where fairies could live happily and gracefully in peace. Not everyone is born a fairy, it may skip generations but that wasn't the problem. No jealousy nor hate. It didn't take much for fairies to keep their health, normal lives, normal people with special abilities. Every month, fairies would have to drink tree water from the tree they call "Wiseacorn" to remain healthy. The tree is the heart of the village. It's not only for fairies, it produce life to the villagers; food, water, oxygen, light, everything to keep them alive. But what happens when the tree dies? The village is overpopulated with fairies and it becomes difficult to maintain life from a dying tree. Villagers started believe that fairies are the curse of the forest..
