Shay's logic is that if she's in Serena's body, Serena must be in Shay's body. But where is Shay's body? Will Shay --or Serena-- ever be able to go back to normal? Or so she thought. It all changed when she met a Vampire, he's better than Daniel, he helped her on the brink of death and he is also, her second mate. Who will she fall in love with first?

In an attempt to rescue her brother, uncle Jerry is shot an Nelly barely escapes the violent group of raiders that caught them. Stuck without a truck she desperately tries to navigate her whereabouts by foot, unwillingly exploring a post-apocalyptic landscape.
