Brandon Newcastle is a fourteen year old who lives in Scope-city. When the town name said city it's really the size of many cities combined. There is a random choosing of people to go to the "Battle Zone". Which is an island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. The Zone has a special storm called the barrier. If you are in it to long you die. Will Brandon be picked in the choosing?
