They saved the Tarim, but Tally became a Biddy for Alder and they abandon Abigail and Raelle. But what if this didn't happen? Finally able to live out that white picket life they both so desperately wanted but at what cost? When a new cadet arrives at Fort Salem, Raelle can tell that something is off. Why does this girl have so many questions about Scylla? More importantly, why does Scylla look like she sees a literal ghost when she runs into this new cadet on base. Scylla never really liked to talk about her family, but with this mysterious stranger back in her life she may not have a choice but to come clean, or risk living in the past.
