Fast- Friction story, inspired by my Literature Teacher. It was our project but I decided to share it in wattpad. Eh! First time akong naka gawa ng English na story!

Back a few hundred years, magic existed. Well, it still exists. It has always existed. The word "human" was an insult. A few people found magic hard to learn and that spread like wildfire. The people with difficulty declared themselves humans and burned the world of magic. The magical beings, demons, had to retreat to their own world. Centuries later, a princess thought to be dead is found in the human world. Eight demons, two devils, a zombie, a fortune teller, a ghost, a water elemental, a kitsune, and a vampire, are sent to different parts of the world in pairs to find her. They all end up in the same place, and they find their secret links to the world of humans.

Fortune teller? That's what people around calling her. It's not just a nickname for her, but that's what she does. She can tell and see your past, present, and future, but people around her keep on asking if she can read her own destiny. She always smiles while saying no; she can't read her future that waits for her.

It all started with a card game. Veronica Hayes was a busy girl, leading a busy life. She lived with her mother in a cottage, big enough for three bears to live in. Her mother's job was good enough, though her weekly pay was low, it was just enough to put food on the table and pay their house bills. Veronica was helpful, but she wasn't the best daughter. But one day, when they got a letter from under the door claiming it was from the queen, her mother was delighted. It read, We were searching for one of the best detectives- or best riddle-solvers- we saw that your daughter was the number one riddle-solver from the closest village, Hernard Village. I, the queen, would like her to come over tomorrow for something we are investigating. If she can figure out who has done the crime, you will recieve ten million dollars of cash. Maya and Grace were best friends who had drifted apart after Grace moved away to New York. After two years, Grace and Maya weren't close anymore and had a heated fight at a cafe. Now, Maya has been given a watch with the ability to time travel. She chooses to go back in time to fix her friendship with Grace. Maya is stuck at crossroads and doesn't know what direction to go. Krystal does not believe in superstition, nor does she believe in anything spiritual. It is Friday the 13th and her boyfriend Tom thinks it would be funny if she gets her fortune read at an at home fortuneteller. The Gypsy reading Krystal's future predicts unfortunate, blood inducing events install for Krystal. Despite the Gypsy's cries, Krystal doesn't budge. Does Krystal end up believing in superstition? Or is it too late for her?
