A Writer's Desk is a help desk functioning to aid writers with their writing process. We're a group of people who are dedicated to helping Wattpad authors improve and promote their works. We're honest in what we do, and are always looking for more members to join us who share our ideas and dedication. This book contains any news regarding opportunities that Wattpad writers might find interesting and that will help them promote their works. That includes, but is not limited to, contests and website/blog feature opportunities. 'A Writer's Desk News' attempts to become a one-stop shop for writers looking to improve and promote their works by the means of contests and features. This book will mostly feature user-run events as there is no set place for users to promote them. The few places, like the official contest advertising thread, aren't visited by many writers, hence, the visibility of the user-run events becomes low. 'A Writer's Desk News' will advertise and promote any such events to our community of writers. I have a really hard time finding books that I like on Wattpad. I thought a good way to address this is by creating a place for unrecognized authors to advertise their books in a way that helps readers decide whether the story sounds interesting or not. This book is designed as a place to advertise your stories or to find the right book for you. I will make chapters with titles that share the general type of story that you should advertise in the comments. I hope this helps.
