First, it was the coal, then the natural gas, and finally the petroleum. Of course, the government has tried to fix things. But our old energy sources are gone, and there's nothing they - or anyone else - can do about it. And then there's Maxine Winters, a high-school girl who just wants to live a normal life with her friends, although that's pretty hard to do when your world is fading away before your very eyes. This is my entry for the #PlanetOrPlastic competition. We need to speak out. Our voices have to be heard. This is what the future could look like...

What happens after we run out of oil? Can our civilization survive without a ready supply of fossil fuels? What are our alternatives, and will we be ready? Energy is a short story that imagines a future where we remained unprepared to change our consumption and our use of energy sources as world population grew, and asks questions about what we might be able to do to avoid such a future. The possibilities it considers are frighteningly realistic, and the questions it asks are ones that affect everything we do.

I made this book for more awareness to climate change nothings being done about it I understand we have other problems but we can't solve those without solving this one, if this keeps continuing and we're doing other things whats the point when we're going to die in a couple of years due to floods , heatwaves, drouts, acid rain ect. so please spread some sort of awareness for all we know we may never see the beautiful features of Earth again.
