Two sides of a string ready to meet. Kyaire and Azahni are two 10th graders. Both of them have been through so much a child shouldn't have to go through. Azahni, she had a decent set up. The clothes, shoes, good education, almost everything a kid could ask for. The things that happened to her though. Those were things that broke her slowly and slowly until she wasn't her anymore. Kyaire, he didn't have a great beginning. His parents were both alcoholics. His mother died, and his dad was barely ever around, and we he was it wasn't good for Kyaire. He had to learn to grow up very early. Azahni and Kyaire have crossed paths many times. When they finally stop and notice each other they can build each other back up.
