The two groups were on separate missions, not knowing they were tied to each other. They meet each other when a wandering Biana is attacked by a minotaur and a lost Jason saves her. The Neverseen captures the two teams, confusing Percy and his group for elves and Sophie and her group as demigods. Soon after, the two teams team up to fight against the Neverseen, the Council, monsters, and maybe even the Black Swan, all while doing it in secret, afraid if they get caught, they endanger themselves and the whole world they've been trying so hard to protect.
