When she becomes close to Cartia the new girl on the dance team she's weary to have her over all the time like she did with Lexi, only because she's worried about Jesus, considering he's gotten with almost all her friends. Mariana decides to have Cartia spend the night and meet everyone and the moment Jesus meets her he becomes completely infatuated with her. Cartia being the good friend she pushes Jesus away considering Mariana has told her about all her friends getting with him and she wasn't going to betray her like that. But how long can Cartia stay loyal to her and Mariana's friendship and not slip up with Jesus.
