How the building collapsed around me, burning wood missing me by inches. I could hear others screaming, crying out for help when none would come. The flames creeping closer by the second, I watch as they licked across my body. I expect to feel pain, to see my skin burn from the heat. Yet I felt warmth as they slowly consumed my body, fear washed over me, unable to comprehend what was happening. Staring down at my hands as I sat in the middle of a raging fire, unharmed. My skin held a light glow to it, whether it was coming from me or the flames eluded me.
