A long time ago, Ariel helped build Hogwarts. Back then, it wasn't famous. The castle was unfinished, its halls filled with arguments and clashing ideas. Ariel worked alongside the founders and helped shape the school piece by piece. When Hogwarts was finally completed, her name vanished from its history. No one spoke of her anymore. She didn't fight it. Staying would have cost her more than she was willing to give, so she left. She never returned. Instead, she moved to Germany. Life there was quieter there, the magic less concerned with bloodlines and reputation. Ariel learned the language and kept a low profile. In time, she began teaching at a small magical school. She taught control, spell theory, and what to do when magic failed. Her students respected her. None of them ever questioned how little she seemed to change. Time passed. A great deal of it. Wars rose and fell without her. Immortality didn't make her powerful. It made her careful. She learned to survive by staying unnoticed. That changed when Voldemort returned. Dumbledore found her through an old story. A half-forgotten account of a fifth witch who had once walked the halls of Hogwarts and then vanished without a trace. Most dismissed it as legend. Dumbledore did not. He followed the trail across decades and borders until it led him to her. Ariel didn't want to help. Hogwarts had already taken enough from her, and Britain felt like someone else's responsibility. But Voldemort's methods felt disturbingly familiar. She had seen that kind of darkness before and knew how quickly it could spread. So she joined the Order of the Phoenix.

What set her apart was that she was determined to bring her entire community with her. But before her community can thrive, she needs it to survive. Bearing witness to one of the largest massacres since the Witch Hunts in England began, Helga knows that she can no longer sit idly by. She must take every action she can to protect the wizarding community and teach it to protect itself, but if she has learned anything, it is that she cannot do that alone. He is tought by them until he reaches the age of eleven, when he goes back to his own time and is thrown in to a whole new world. I got some of this idea (the 'growing up with the Founders' thing) from another fic-for the life of me I can't remember who it's by, and what it's called, so if you know, please tell me-but the rest I came up with. (It lasts much longer than 15 seconds in your mindscape) A short story about a single encounter between me and my OC, Helena Hufflepuff.
