Layla jest tą osobą, której nie da się nie zauważyć. Zwykle głośna, ironiczna, zawsze gotowa rzucić komentarzem, który rozbawi wszystkich wokół. W grupie znajomych to ona nadaje tempo, rozkręca rozmowy i sprawia że nigdy nie jest nudno. I jednocześnie nikt tak naprawdę jej nie zna. Aiden ma zupełnie inną pozycję. Chłodny, opanowany, zamożny i przyzwyczajony do kontroli, od lat stoi w centrum - jako przewodniczący szkoły, jako ktoś kto zawsze ma plan i rzadko się myli. Ich rozmowy to ciągłe docinki , zderzenie dwóch zupełnie różnych światów i walka o to kto pierwszy odpuści - chociaż żadne z nich nie ma takiego zamiaru. Wśród wspólnych znajomych funkcjonują obok siebie, ale każde spotkanie tylko podkręca napięcie. Problem w tym że mimo wszystko nie potrafią odpuścić. Z czasem granica między niechęcią a czymś znacznie bardziej skomplikowanym zaczyna się zacierać. A kiedy przeszłość, o której Layla nigdy nie mówi, zaczyna wychodzić na jaw, okazuje się, że to co jest między nimi, nie powinno było się nigdy wydarzyć. Bo niektóre historie nie kończą się wtedy, kiedy powinny. A niektóre uczucia pojawiają się dokładnie tam, gdzie nie mają prawa istnieć.

The creaky floors and thin walls of the old brick building were no match for the loud, eccentric personalities of its residents, and somehow, that worked out just fine-most of the time.

An alternate universe of LEGO monkie kid where all mythology and legends have been forgotten over time. Mk is a high school kid who is overworked and in need of a break. He finds us a fluffy black cat in the woods whilst its raining on the way back home and decides to take it home with him not knowing who the cat actually is.
