At 21 he decided to leave New York and apply to become a Los angels Firefighter at the 118. At 22 he was happy with his family at the 118 and finally talking with his big sister, Maddie Buckley again. At 23 the fire engine he was in exploded and he was thrown out of it and it landed on him causing him to go though months of pain, surgery, and being stuck at home. Soon he was able to come back to work but it wasn't the same he was being left out, yelled at, and even being treated like trash as if they weren't a family even his sister was siding with them.
