She goes to the annual masquerade the boarding school hosts around Halloween and meets a mysterious blue eyed boy, who she falls for. Four, the lead singer of a band called Dauntless with Zeke, Uriah, and Will. He and his band are attending the masquerade where he bumps into a mysterious masked beauty. However, things are not as they seem. What will happen? Read to find out.

"Why did you leave, Tris? Why did you leave me?" *ALLEGIANT SPOILERS* It's been a year since Tris died, and Tobias is still devastated. He begins to write letters to Tris, as a way to help him cope. In these letters, Tobias pours his heart out to Tris, telling her what's been going on in Chicago and how he's dealing with all the events in his life. Most of all, he admits how deeply her death has affected him. I'm also going to include letters from other characters in Divergent who've lost friends or family. Ex. Christina to Will, Shauna to Lynn, Zeke to Uriah, Caleb to Tris, George to Tori, you get the point. It's still going to be mostly Tobias to Tris, but I think it would be fun to switch it up a bit and get into other characters' minds too.

A 17 year old girl named Beatrice Prior moves back to Chicago and goes to a new high school and re-meets Tobias Eaton the Mayors son but when they were kids he used to go by Tobias to everyone and by Toby for Beatrice and Beatrice used to go by Beatrice to everyone and for Toby she would go by Bea but now this two kids fall inlove with each other without knowing at the beginning that the who they are really but when they find out no one can tell them they are wrong for they are star crossed lover.

For most people, New Year's is a fresh start. It's a chance to wash away the sins of the last year and vow to do better in the next. It's a chance for redemption. But Tobias Eaton doesn't want to let go of the past year. Not when one of his closest friends, and mentors, was murdered. Starting over would be like washing his hands of his friend, like moving on, like forgetting him. Wouldn't it? Fortunately, Tris Prior knows just what to do, say, and sing, to ease her boyfriend's concerns. This is another special one-shot, for, obviously, New Year's. I really tried to capture a more meaningful aspect of the holiday, using the song that is in the title of this story. I hope you enjoy! :) Happy New Year, everyone!

This is all in Tobias POV. His love for Tris is unending. His life without Tris. Will he move on? Who will it be? Or will he just never love again? He knows that Tris is in a better place, but he wishes that Tris is here with him. But that is not possible anymore. Tobias insists that everyone calls him Four now. He doesn't want to be called 'Tobias' anymore, because it reminds him of Tris. His love for Tris will never end. 'Tell Tobias I never wanted to leave him,' haunts him everyday.
