Alexei Frey has spent most of her life learning how to survive. Orphaned at a young age, she was raised by her loving aunt, the only family she has left. Together, they run a small cafΓ© beside one of the city's busiest train stations. Though life is far from perfect, Alexei finds comfort in the simple routine of serving customers, helping her aunt, and dreaming of a brighter future.
Everything changes in a single afternoon.
When a series of explosions suddenly erupts throughout the train station, panic spreads like wildfire. Amid the chaos, Alexei notices two homeless children trapped near the platform. Without hesitation, she rushes into the danger and manages to lead them toward safety.
But just as they are about to escape, a final bomb detonates directly beside the children.
Time seems to stop.
As the blast races toward them, Alexei throws herself forward, expecting pain, destruction-perhaps even death. Instead, something impossible happens.
The raging flames bend toward her outstretched hand.
The fire doesn't burn her.
It obeys her.
Terrified, Alexei watches as the inferno is drawn into her body. The flames swirl violently around her, surging uncontrollably as if they are alive. No matter how hard she tries to stop them, the fire continues to pour into her until every spark from the explosion disappears.
Then darkness takes her.
When Alexei opens her eyes, she finds herself in a mysterious institution hidden from the modern world, a place where individuals with unexplained supernatural abilities are gathered and trained. There, she learns a shocking truth: supernatural abilities exist.
As she struggles to understand her newfound abilities, Alexei becomes entangled in a hidden conflict that has existed for centuries.
The girl who once served coffee beside a train station may now hold the key to saving or destroying the world.
For the fire that chose her is no ordinary flame.
It is something far older.
Something that has been waiting to awaken.
