Till it gets to her great grandparents grandparents and her parents who aren't shifters even though they have shifter blood in them they themselves aren't shifters they don't even consider the possibility of their kids being shifters so she literally shifts by herself one day with no idea what's going on. She runs to her shifter friends but like I said she had no idea they were shifters. They help her through it though.
