They're fighting against the ERA which including allowing abortion, lmbtq rights and other liberal laws. However Phyllis' niece Misty Day is on the liberal side and she have to live with Phyllis from now because her parents went to Europe for 4 month. After Alice meet her, she makes her life upside down. Slow burn (I don't own Mrs America and any of these characters)
