Simon didn’t realize that he hadn’t hit the curb until he climbed out of his vehicle and discovered the young woman sprawled in front of his car. The woman was lying on the ground with blood seeping from a gash in her forehead, not responsive but definitely breathing. He quickly looked around and was relieved that the gas station was nearly empty. He knew from experience that no one inside could see him around the side of the building. He opened the driver’s side back seat door and tossed her in, closing the door behind her. He soared into the front seat deciding that “taking a leak” could wait.

Morning came, but the sky was still riddled with gloomy clouds, a wispy wind had gently brought forth a dense fog. A frail man emerged from his hallowed sanctuary, noticing that the tree was probably a better place to be. Since he was lacking visibility in the marsh, and the forbiddingly cold murky water was up to his knees. Unconcerned with his well-being; the frail man fretted not, and decided to carry on aimlessly.

Inktober but writing!

I'm not normal. I have colourful wires running inside my body instead of veins. My body consist of thirty percent metal, twenty percent water, twenty five percent muscle, ten percent steel, I don't know what the rest is and I really don't want to find out. I only know two people in my life, my depressed crazy father, my caretaker and bodyguard, Daisy. I can't live like other people because society doesn't agree with me, there's an organisation formed just to protect me from those who hunt down abnomalies, monsters like me. And one of their members gave his heart to me. Literally.
