Malachi reposts it without comment, but Freya chooses not to repost his support, marking the beginning of her emotional distance from him. That leads into her Stars Align Tour, where her music becomes deeply personal and reflective of unresolved hurt, anger, and confusion tied to Malachi's silence and disappearance from her life. Now, Freya is heading to New Zealand for Zombies 5. The returning cast includes MK, Sway, Julian, and Malachi, alongside a new cast entering the franchise for the first time.

Malachi and Freya have been friends for as long as they can remember From Malachi comforting Freya the first time she had to leave him to go on vacation, to the first time Freya comforted Malachi when he lost his first soccer game... 12 years later and there still the best of friends if not closer. Everyone said they'd get married one day but they only ever viewed each other as brother and sister, without the annoyance siblings get of each other, of course. They loved each other more than they loved anyone else, but they only ever thought that was just their friendship. Until the hugs become longer, the "I love you" starts to feel even more real, and the innocent cheek kisses started giving each other butterflies everytime they'd kiss each other on the cheek. Is it just them getting older or something else..? Something deeper than friendship?
